Abbey restructures its New Build teams - 20/12/06

At the end of 2005, Abbey for Intermediaries was pleased to announce the restructure of its Regional Offices to include underwriting and sales capabilities under one roof. This has been a highly successful move and by placing underwriting and sales side by side, we have seen some great improvements to our service offering.

Following a review of Abbey's New Build proposition, from 1 January 2007 we will begin managing all New Build cases through our Regional Offices rather than through our New Build teams in St Albans and Manchester. By managing all New Build business and general business within the same sales team in your Regional Office, we believe we can build better relationships with you and still deliver the same great service you've come to expect from us.
