Support Unit was set up in June 1995. The Technical Support
Unit is committed to helping intermediaries solve any technical
problems they might have with industry related issues or generic
queries on pensions, trusts and taxation. The Technical Support
Unit is an important part of our ongoing commitment to providing
the best possible service and back up for intermediaries.
Our specialists within the Technical Support Unit are available to answer telephone queries on general, non-product related issues. Our Technical Support Unit services are available to all intermediaries, as are their regular bulletins Tech Talk and Technical Matters. The Technical Support Unit provides generic, rather than product-specific, advice and assistance on pensions, taxation and trusts. The service is available to Independent Financial Advisers only. The team is not authorised to give financial advice and consequently is not available to policyholders and other members of the general public who should contact their Financial Adviser.
