Abbey to launch Automated Valuations - 4/12/06

On Monday 4 December, Abbey for Intermediaries is launching Automated Valuations - the next in a series of service improvements.

This will give a virtually instant valuation - so the application process is quicker and your clients won't be waiting for the surveyor to call round.

Instructions must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible:

• Remortgage clients taking our Remortgage Solution package¹; and
  
• 60% LTV or less; and
  
• Properties in England, Wales & Scotland only; and
  
• Property is either a 2,3,4 bed house/bungalow/chalet or 1-2 bedroom flat/maisonette; and
• Maximum estimated value £500,000 (£250,000 for flats). Minimum property value £50,000

The following information will also need to be provided as completely and accurately as possible in the application:

• Property type & style
  
• Postcode
  
• Number of bedrooms
  
• Estimated value
• Age of property/year of construction
