Abbey scoops industry awards - 22/05/06

Abbey have recently won several awards in recognition of its continued drive towards delivering excellent products and service.

At the Financial Adviser awards, Abbey scooped first, second and third place in three categories. First place was awarded for Mortgage Lender of the Year (Overseas Property), second place for the First Time Buyer category and third place for Bank Lender of the Year.

These awards are voted for by the Financial Adviser IFA readers, who looked at product innovation, performance, sales and marketing, broker support, rates and charges.

At the Mortgage Strategy awards, Abbey came second in the Best Flexible Lender category and joint third for the Best Mortgage Lender. These awards are also nominated, and voted for, by intermediaries who read Mortgage Strategy.
